Departing from Whananui, the northern trailhead enveloped in lush greenery, stopping in at Onepoto to either drop off or pick up fellow hikers - finishing back at Te Karetu (the boat ramp next to the Holiday Park).

Where to wait for your water taxi?

Whananui is about a 2.5 hour walk from Waiharuru (the last hut). Just before you arrive to the Whananui site you will come to a water taxi sign. The Whananui site will be to the left of you, and the waters edge will be to the right. Please wait for your taxi near the waters edge and our skipper will let you know where to board the boat when he arrives.
