Depart from Onepoto, located at the southern start of the track with nearby parking facilities. The route takes you through stunning landscapes to Whananui, the trail's northern endpoint, surrounded by lush greenery

The carpark is right next to the start of the walk. Please note this carpark is not monitored however there has been no reports of vandalism/theft in recent years.

The water taxi pick up/drop off point is a 3 min walk down the road shown in the second image. You will see the signage. If waiting for your water taxi please wait along the beach and our skipper will let you know where to board the boat.
